The NSW Government today released for comment a code of practice for the CSG exploration industry, along with an aquifer interference policy and draft plans that identify prime farmland in two key regions.

The WA Department of Mines and Petroleum is yet to fully resolve problems that are impeding its capacity to regulate unconventional gas, but that is no reason to submit four fraccing projects to EPA assessment, according to WA Environment Minister Bill Marmion.
