Carbon committee urged to tackle refrigerant recovery failings

A de facto carbon price will apply to imports of fluorocarbon gases from mid-2012 and from the same date a comparable reward should be paid to those who hand in these gases for destruction, the Green Cooling Association will tell Federal Parliament's carbon bills inquiry next Wednesday.
