Victoria's top sustainability award has gone to an online marketplace for surplus food, with honours also going to four councils involved in a renewable energy bulk buy.
Listings include new laws in Victoria and Tasmania, a new bill in the Northern Territory, and coastal zone management plans for two councils. Sustainability job listings include positions with Aldi, Rio Tinto, City of Sydney, GHD and Cement Australia.
The Victorian government today announced finalists in this year's Premier's sustainability awards, with Telstra and Ikea named as the two finalists in the large business category.
