Massive increase in storage needed on route to net zero: CSIRO

Australia needs “multiple shots on goal” from technologies including batteries, pumped hydro, green hydrogen, solar thermal and a range of developing science-based energy storage processes if it is to meet its 2050 net zero goal, according to CSIRO chief executive Larry Marshall.
