China has given a lukewarm endorsement of the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate at the partnership’s second ministerial meeting in New Delhi. And despite 2008 shaping up as a crucial year for international climate change negotiations, representatives at last week’s New Delhi meeting agreed not to hold another ministerial-level meeting until 2009.
